The Municipality of Bayabas, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), proudly joins the nation in the observance of the 48th National Disability Rights Week. This annual celebration serves as a reaffirmation of our commitment to uphold and protect the rights, dignity, and welfare of persons with disabilities through the promotion of inclusive policies, equal opportunities, and accessible programs and services.
Anchored on this year’s theme, “Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development,” this observance calls upon all sectors to strengthen collaboration in advancing disability-inclusive development and ensuring that persons with disabilities are empowered to participate fully and equally in all aspects of society.
