The ๐๐๐๐-๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐ successfully turned over two (2) projects under the Project Diversification Development Grant (PDDG) with a total amount of โฑ200,000.00 in the Municipality of Bayabas today, January 16, 2026.
Each association received โฑ100,000.00 as additional capital to support new livelihood projects. This grant serves as a reward and incentive in recognition of the associationsโ successful project implementation and sustainability efforts.
Out of the five (5) projects implemented in 2023, only two (2) were identified as sustainable, making these associations deserving recipients of the additional grant.
The๐๐ ๐๐๐ณ ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ก๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, whose recent project focuses on hog raising, received additional incentives in the form of feeds supply to further strengthen and sustain their livelihood. Similarly, the ๐๐ ๐๐๐ณ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, whose recent project is general merchandise, received additional support through augmenting supplies as part of the grant.
This achievement was made possible through the strong support and leadership of ๐๐๐ฒ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ฉ๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐จ ๐. ๐๐จ๐ณ๐๐๐, ๐๐๐, who continuously extends his commitment to the program and the associations. Also present was the Local Technical Working Group of Bayabas, headed by the SB on Social Services, Hon. Madelyn V. Lozada, and MSWDO, Ms. Marevic R. Maundo.
The activity was also attended by the Cluster Leader of Cluster 2, DSWD SLP SDS Janine Lucille B. Ranara, and was successfully facilitated by the PDO assigned, JoseLee Montero.
This milestone highlights the importance of effective project implementation, sustainability, and strong collaboration among stakeholders in empowering community-based associations.
