The Local Government Unit of Bayabas has made history by being the first in the Philippines to institutionalize the “Mabuhay Gesture” through a Sangguniang Bayan Resolution.
This achievement is a testament to our commitment to delivering outstanding service in line with the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence.
Our dedication and hard work have earned recognition from the Provincial Tourism Office of Surigao del Sur and the Department of Tourism Caraga and at the National level.
During the Tourism Stakeholders’ Summit on February 16, 2024, in Butuan City, Vice Mayor Maria Clarita G. Limbaro, who represented Mayor Apolonio B. Lozada, together with the Municipal Tourism Officer-designate, Mr. Jude Geji C. Limbaro, proudly received plaques of recognition in the presence of DOT Secretary, Ma. Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco.
Moreover, the awards were presented to the LGU Bayabas’ officials and employees during the Flag Raising Ceremony on February 19, 2024.
