Following the Declaration of a State of Calamity in the entire Province of Surigao del Sur due to Tropical Storm Basyang, the Local Government Unit of Bayabas, under the leadership of 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐁. 𝐋𝐨𝐳𝐚𝐝𝐚, 𝐃𝐕𝐌, continues its relief operations.
Through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and partner agencies, the LGU distributed 10 kilograms of rice to each family (a total of 2,921 families) in the Municipality today, February 12, 2026.
